Meteorological Department Forecast: There will be heavy rains in this part of Gujarat in the near future

On the one hand, the corona virus is wreaking havoc across the state, and on the other hand, natural disasters such as heavy storms, rains, earthquakes are also frightening the world. Today is a big news for the state of Gujarat. The meteorological department has forecast rains in South Gujarat.

The forecast will still be clear in one to two days. According to the meteorological department, South Gujarat is likely to receive rains on May 28-29, while Saurashtra is also forecast to receive rains on May 30-31. Apart from this, rains are also forecast in Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath.

On the one hand, two major storms are also forecast in the Arabian Sea amid rain forecast. With this, the meteorological department has come into action. The meteorological department said the situation would become clear in two days. Amidst the rain forecast, the heat wave will remain unchanged in Gujarat. Not only that, an Orange Alert has been declared in Ahmedabad for the next 48 hours. Hitwave is also forecast in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Kutch in North Gujarat.

As per the information received about this, the heat wave in the state will remain the same. But the meteorological department has forecast orange alerts and hitwaves in several cities. Hitwave is forecast in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Surat, Bhavnagar, Kutch, Ahmedabad. The next 48 hours are very heavy in Ahmedabad, for which an orange alert has been issued.

The meteorological department has clarified that there is no possibility of rain in any part of Gujarat during the next 48 hours. However, normal rainfall is forecast in South Gujarat between May 28 and 29, while normal rainfall is forecast in Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath in Saurashtra coastal area on May 30 and 31. On the other hand, various models are being studied for whether there will be a hurricane in the Arabian Sea. The situation will become clear in the next 2-3 days.

Gujarat A new cyclone pattern is forming in the Arabian Sea. Due to this storm, rains may fall in the state between June 1 and 3. While in some districts of Saurashtra, winds are expected to blow with heavy rains. Apart from this, another hurricane is likely to hit the state on June 6. The hurricane is forming near the islands of Lakshadweep. Starting from May 31, it will come to Gujarat via the coast of Bengaluru-Goa-Maharashtra. Any Gir could collide in Somnath district.


If a hurricane hits Gujarat on June 3, it could be the epicenter in Saurashtra's Gir-Somanath district. Gir-Somna will be the focal point of Gir-Gadha village of the district and Gir forest. With this, more impact can be seen in the surrounding Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Rajkot and Bhavnagar districts. The speed of the hurricane is expected to be around 110 km / h.
